Hello List,
I'm usually setting login screen to display some nice image and clock and it worked OK in KDE3. Now I have 11.2 (x86) + KDE4.3.4. I disable theme greater, select "Show clock" in Dialog tab and enable background image and select some photo. I noticed that after KDE updates (KDE:/43 repository), login screen returns to default image and logo and when I go to login manager configuration again, I see "Show logo" and default background image selected. Not sure yet whether it happens after every update, probably not. But at least I've seen it 2-3 times. I searched novell bugzilla and KDE one, but have not seen such reports. Is there anybody on the list using this non-default login screen? Does it work for you?
TIA
There seems to be a few problems with updating the login details. I have never successfully changed a login theme without have to resort to some CLI edits of files to complete the process, this has been an issue for quite a while.
