My question is, when I fire up Kwifimanager I get info about the second AP but I want to get trough to the AP connected to the aerial to put in I think the
iwlist scanning
command provides this information (as long as your network card is connected and there are active APs in range). Are you looking for more?
Thanks Mike.
But I want to go into the first one , info between access point and ISP, to set some filters.
It sounds like you're looking for the admin utility for your access point (AP), which is hardware specific, and generally not Linux related. (Unless you have a Linux gateway with some AP hardware with which I'm not familiar.) The three APs that I've worked with have a Web-based interface that you can open by pointing your browser to its IP address. The default is often 192.168.0.1. Unless you've changed them, consult your AP docs for any username and password. Mike
