Hi I found it myself... quite strange thing. Vmware had its starting script names S01vmware, and smb had S11smb. So, vmware loaded its modules before samba daemon did, and thus samba could now load itself "on top" of vmware. I changed the order, and now it is working again.. So the only error that I can see, is that the "address 0.0.0.0 is already in use"
Where can this come from??? I haven't changed anything as I can remember that could affect samba, and I don't find any fault anywhere.
I have installed samba client/server RPM again, and also packages for printer, and then ran the printer setup with Yast2.
But printing just won't work!
