How can I download from 'download.opensuse.org' and not get shunted off to some random mirror that may or may not be up to day. One would certainly think a mirror could have downloaded a release from the 16th (this being the 20th)....
Pick a mirror from those listed on https://mirrors.opensuse.org/ instead of letting mirrorbrain (d.o.o.) pick for you.
I understand that YaST gets the list of packages directly from d.o.o, but then gets redirected to a mirror that is known to have that package; and repeated for every package. It is when you go to a mirror bypassing the brain that you do not know if the list is up to date. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.1 x86_64 at Telcontar)
