Dear my friends....
Anybody use octave (http://www.octave.org)?
I am starting to learn it :-)
I tried to compile it but none of the versions works on SuSE Linux 8.2 . I am using SuSE 8.2 . I need this kind of software to do my research for my study. Kalamaris is still far than eligible to be used in works. I think octave is the best for my demand till now.
Please help me where I can get octave (download) which suitable to SuSE 8.2'es environment.
It is included with the Pro-version of SuSE 8.2 distribution. I loaded it with YaST2. I think it was not available for one or two earlier revisions, but it is available now. Searching for "octave" at http://www.suse.com/cgi-bin/htsearch.cgi did not find the online directory, but perhaps someone else can help him find the location. Stanley Long Anchorage, Alaska
Thank you very much in advance.
