All,
This is bizarre. Today on Leap 15, I went to zypper up and it SegFaulted 7 times before it finally downloaded all packages. It would download 3-4 packages, then segfault.
This was apparently already reported as a bug several weeks ago. Is a fix or workaround out? I worked around this by doing the following:
sudo zypper in --oldpackage libzypp-17.7.2-lp150.2.9.1 sudo zypper up This will go back to the working version of libzypp then zypper up to bypass the broken package and all works fine after that for me. cat /etc/os-release NAME="openSUSE Leap" VERSION="15.0" ID="opensuse-leap" ID_LIKE="suse opensuse" VERSION_ID="15.0" PRETTY_NAME="openSUSE Leap 15.0" ANSI_COLOR="0;32" CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:opensuse:leap:15.0" BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.opensuse.org" HOME_URL="https://www.opensuse.org/"
The 15.0 fix was released I think, 15.1 still takes a bit.
Ciao, Marcus
