How did you become root? If you use "su -" from a working X session, then an X program will work for root, as we mentioned before.
As for the group warning, you could silence that by typing (as root) "usermod -A antivir root"

Yes, I did use su - After that I did this: # usermod -A antivir root erikja:~ # cd /usr/lib/AntiVir/ erikja:/usr/lib/AntiVir # ./antivir-gui libxcb: WARNING! Program tries to unlock a connection without having acquired a lock first, which indicates a programming error. There will be no further warnings about this issue. libxcb: WARNING! Program tries to lock an already locked connection, which indicates a programming error. There will be no further warnings about this issue. This was what I got now. How can i avoid the warnings do you think ? -- Venlig hilsen - Best regards - Erik Jakobsen Licensed HAM-RADIO with the callsign OZ4KK http://www.urbakken.dk Registered Linux user #114875 with http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
