[opensuse] How to reset keyboard for edit?

I've messed up my keyboard settings. Now in CLI mode in KDE the edit functions such as HOME and END aren't working. Somewhere along the line I've reset something and can';t find in kdesetting/inputdevcices or whatever how to set it back.
