Then why don't you just send your messages to /dev/null instead? - Much faster, - doesn't use up any bandwidth, - you can be pretty sure you won't get any response, - you can use whatever grimy text format you like, - and most important, it saves the list from dealing with "hit 'n run" posts.
I am sure that there are others in this mailing list that work similarly. It could save considerable bandwidht if the mailing list would allow a 'post only' subscription.
