Never seen a way to do that in EITHER OO *OR* Office, .. you best option is probably to either create .pdfs & combine them, or insert document objects in the first spreadsheet pages.

Actually, it has been a common feature of Office since - afaik - Office 97. It is called Master Document. I just tried a Master Document in OOo as well.
