StarOffice in 7.2 vs. 7.3

Hi I have HP XE3 laptop with pre-installed win-98 and 128Mb ram. I partitioned the 20GB HD to take SuSE 7.3. After successfull installation, starting the StarOffice installation it hangs. Also StarOffice 6.0 installation hangs. I believe it is Java-related... First the keyboard hangs when in the first StarOffice screen I click on "next", then after few seconds, mouse dies too, and I have to do a cold-reset. This does not happen with SuSE 7.2... Installation goes like a dream. So, is there a know issue with 7.3 Java-packages? How could I "debug" this? Jaska.
