I now have two systems (11.1 and 11.2) in which Firefox has been updated and now wants the Subject package to be installed. I have found it in Packman; attempts to install it produce a very long list of dependencies that need to be satisfied (some of which, on first glance, lead into a closed loop.
From where did you update Firefox? At the same place you should get the matching xulrunner version.
If Firefox was updated at all, it was automatically updated by YaST. What is there now is v3.6.3. Other than the usual repositories and packman, the only one present is: http://downloads.opensuse.org/mozillla/opensuse_11.2, which I assume is where these files are: I have just tried again to start the updating of the 29 waiting packages, and now receive a different warning message: mozilla-xulrunner192-1.9.2.10-4.1.x86_64 requires mozilla-nss >= 3.12.8, but this requirement cannot be provided This is not the same as I saw previously, but it is the message that I saw with the v11.1 system a few days ago.
That suggests that I am going about this in the wrong way, and that there must be an easier approach. What is the right way to get this package installed so that Firefox will be happy and the rest of the pending updates can be completed?
mozilla-xulrunner192 and MozillaFirefox are updated simultaneously and from the same repository. If that didn't work for you I'm interested in more information to debug that.
If you will tell me the exact name of any log you wish to see, or any other information, I will post it at once.
