[opensuse] 2nd monitor "720p" resolution - 42.2 & KDE4

One thing I've noticed is I cannot configure a 2nd monitor connected to my laptop to 1366 x 768 resolution, to match the built in display. This means it's not possible to unify the displays, without significantly dropping resolution. On Windows, I can have both displays show the same content, regardless of whether the 2nd display is a 720p or 1080p. It just works. Extending the display works OK though, with the different screen resolution. Is there any way to fix this?
