Hi Art, if I interpret you request correctly you should be able to create a link by clicking on the desktop, for instance, with your right mouse button. An item, "Create New", should appear and, below it, you should be able to find several "Link to..." subitems. I suggest that you try with that... I can browse with konqueror to /dev/video0, click on it, and open with mplayer. How can I create a link that will do the same thing. Have tried several of the options from mplayer -h and mplalyer -vo help, but nothing works.
Also, I execute ./ptune-ui.pl and I have a link for that, but I get a bouncing icon for as long as the application is open. What is causing that?
