Charlie There is a boot.ini file in Win2K, it is just that it is hidden. In the Windows Explorer go to Tools then Folder Options. Click on the View tab. Make sure that you un click (decoche?) the Do not show hidden files and folders box as well as the Hide protected operating system files box. You should now be able to see boot.ini. Remember to change the file attributes. It is read only, you will not be able to edit it unless you change this attribute. From your e-mail address I guess you are French. If you find this explanation a bit too difficult to follow drop me an e-mail and I will try and translate it for you. I'm just a bit lazy at the moment. Cheers Sandy
