I have a PCI based wireless card that I can't get up and running on a workstation also. YaST2 and YaST both pick it up fine and set it up as eth0 but I have been able to get it to pick up the DHCP connection on my AP. Similiar problem it seems. 00:0c.0 Network controller: Harris Semiconductor: Unknown device 3873 (rev 01) I get a similiar output on my except it's an AIRONET-PCI350 card. No idea where to point you from here. So sorry. /Dee P.S. I hate getting beaten by a PC :-) On (01/09/02 19:38), Branton Boehm wrote:

iwconfig, etc. is what you need do you have the file on your laptop already ?
I can run iwconfig -- it just tells me that there are no wireless extensions for my ethernet card (that is working correctly).
Thanks again--keep letting me know if you need more info.
