My fonts are dorked. To make a long story short, I had to move my 8.2 installed /usr and /var to a different partiton, to make room for my 9.3 install. Now when booting the old 8.2 install, the fonts are totally dorked. (Not sure how else to say it). Everything else seems to be working fine. I probably won't matter for long, as I'm migrating to the 9.3 install, and hope to be finished with that in a few days. But, my curiosity is getting the better of me, and was wondering how to fix this, and perhaps what caused it. If you need more detail, you can see my original post and thread at, http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-linux-e/2005-May/1342.html Many thanks, as usual. -- Jim Flanagan linuxjim at jjfiii.co
