Scanner + YaST2

I have a new Epson Perfection 1260 flatbed scanner, and I have some problem to install it. I am using Suse 8.o Prof. When I start YaST it can not find my scanner, so I try to configure with YaST, I can not find any Epson 1260 on the list, so I use 1240. If I try to use the Test button, YaST freeze, but if I continue without the Test, my scanner works, but When I start my system the next time, there is no scanner. My SuSE have forgotten that I have a scanner. -- Garantert fri for virus. Kmail og SuSE 8.0
