I ran kpackage, when to the directory where the .deb file was located,
double-clicked on it and got a seg.fault. :-(

I tried alien and got this message:
alien -r opera*.deb -- Examining opera_4.0-0alpha4_i386.deb tar: control: Not found in archive tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors -- Unpacking opera_4.0-0alpha4_i386.deb -- Automatic spec file generation -- Building the package --2.i386.rpm --2.spec: unknown option alien: Error putting together the RPM package.

Does anyone know of any RPM's of this? Or can I do the .deb thing on SuSE?
Sure.
# wget http://path/to/opera*.deb # rpmfind alien # alien -r opera*.deb # rpm -ivh opera*.rpm
If you are running KDE you may want to try kpackage Hope it helps -- Togan Muftuoglu toganm@turk.net -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
