Hello all, I am having trouble getting my wifi connection running. I have installed ndiswrapper as well as the windows driver I needed, and configured the card through YaST. I am currently able to recognize the networks in the area and when I try to connect to them all goes smoothly until the activation stage "IP configuration started" where it stays until it invariably fails.
I have a Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g and I installed the .inf file bcmwl5a.inf in ndiswrapper
The output of iwconfig contains under wlan0 "Rx invalid nwid" "Rx invalid crypt" and "Rx invalid frag" I dont know what this means.
Please pardon any and all terminology errors and stupid questions, I am new to linux
Thanks James

It sounds like you using 10.1. I have it working now (64 bit) by using NetworkManager 6.4-2, ndiswrapper 1.21 and wpa_supplicant 0.4.8-15. NetworkManager and wpa_supplicant are from download.opensuse.org/distribution/OSS_factory/(i536 or x86_64). You will need to use rpm -Uhv <package> to install the new packages. Reboot and it should work. C
