Yesterday I upgraded my Nvidia drivers and x-freeze already in the inlogscreen.
After the reset off my computer I did try to change the settings of my video-card, in Sax2 every looks ok but when I change to init level 5 x freezes again. I have a geforce2 card, do some one know how to solve this problem, shame on me now I have to use xp to send this mail
I have never had the nvidia drivers working properly. They always seem to lock the system, so I end up going back to the nv drivers, which are rock solid. My card is a GeForce2MX.
Also, if I try to use the nvidia drivers, I can't get 1280x1024 on my desktop, so until this is fixed, I stay with nv.
(Besides: I really don't need 3d accelleration, so why bother.)

Ole
I also don't use the 3d function, but the drivers always did work without any problem. What I see in sax2 that 3d acceleration is default on, in the fist screen, but when I want it to change to off in de setting it is already off. Also in the configfile I donn't see any problems, it look like a bug in sax2.

Solved: Idid start again in the save mode, start direct Sax2, not via yast2, and did the setting next setting, first I change my configuration in 3d on, then i change this back. Further i did remove al the different screen modes except 1280*1024. And X didn't freeze any more. Soory for my poor english Cleo
