Hi, I tried to use LibreOffice to open a .doc file for a friend of mine so he could fill it out for a job app. However, it won't open up in LO Writer (LibreOffice 3.5:build-413) correctly on Opensuse 12.1 or 12.2 on three different computers.
Specifically, it doesn't provide a correct graphic display of the document. Also, it doesn't allow anyone to type in information in the appropriate blocks.
I have linked three screenshots on this email to illustrate what is happening. [........]
What is really missing is the URL where the original form can be obtained so that I/we can see for ourselves what happens when I/we open it in out copies of LibreOffice.
For example, I am running LibreOffice v3.6.3.1 and so expect to get a different result to you.
So, what is the URL for that form?

It is sent by email from the employment office that makes contracts for pilots for International Air Carriers. I will send it to you via private email so that you can try it out. If anyone else would like to try, I will do the same for them if they let me know.
OK, fine. Look forward to getting that file.
