The kssh client was dropped a few releases ago. I currently use Putty. I was wondering if there is a KDE or GNOME replacement for this. While Putty (http://www.putty.org/) is OK, I don't like a number of its aspects. --
I'm confused. why do you need a ssh client in linux?
Open a shell, (konsole or xterm) and type ssh. What would you need a client?
kssh is a graphical frontend to the command line ssh client. It has a few advantages, IMHO. In kssh case: - It stores all hosts connect to, so it can act a "connect to" database. - It also stores almost all information used by ssh client to connect to the remote host, like Enable X11, Tunnel configuration, Compression, Auth agent forward, etc, etc, etc... It will save you a lot of writing...
