Neil, I authored one of the bugs on mysql-query browser. The build >service had put out a bad rpm and it was corrected as soon as it was brought to their attention. I have no problems running it on the LAN or across the internet >to remote sites.
Make sure you have the right version of mysql-qui-tools installed. >Mine is:
23:35 Rankin-P35a~> rpm -q mysql-gui-tools mysql-gui-tools-5.0r12-56
Works great!
Hi There I have this version of the gui-tools rpm installed. The Browser works fine when you set it to a default schema when you log on. When you change schemas it still hangs. My problem is that I am busy copying data from one schema to another using SQL queries and I would like to change to another schema to look at the table structures. However if I log in as root into DB schema A everything is fine. When I click on schema B the browser hangs/zombifies and use 99% CPU. To be honest I don't need the tool but it makes me a little more productive and I like that.
