Hi, Suse 9.3 here.
I tried to add packman's repo (get the server data from susewiki.org) to YaST. After the installation source is added, and I go to Install/Remove software, it opens the window, opens the box for "Retrieving.." and after that it closes both. This is the error I get when I start yast2 from xterm:
Command: /sbin/yast2 sw_single & Segmentation fault at /usr/share/YaST2/clients/sw_single.ycp:161 /sbin/yast2: line 207: 24738 Segmentation fault $ybindir/y2base $module "$@" qt -geometry "$Y2_GEOMETRY" $Y2QT_ARGS
If I disable the packmans source, Yast starts to work again.
I have always used on my other machines apt-get, and when on a new install I decided to use YaST - booom :)
Anyone has an idea what may get wrong?
Cheers

Yes, that happened to me last night. I added packman as a source and YaST kept closing.
At the time I was playing with mondo in 9.3, so assumed it had something to do with this. I'm glad I saw your post. If I disable packman's source, YaST then works ok.
