Are there any other companies offering software scanner drivers for Linux systems? Specifically a Canon LiDE 50. I'm at the stage where I will even consider a commercial one. SANE are supposed to be looking at writing a driver but this message has been on the site for ever (seemingly) now. I'm not knocking the guys at SANE as they do a fantastic job but I would very much like to ditch Windows altogether. -- Take care. Kevan Farmer 34 Hill Street Cheslyn Hay Staffordshire WS6 7HR
