All, As I sort out the 42.3 install, I'm down my checklist to "Why does wicked create a 30s delay in the boot process?" Basically, after systemd-analyze plot > opensuse_42.3_boot_delay.svg there is no question who/what the culprit is: Apr 18 17:15:24 wizard systemd[1]: Starting wicked managed network interfaces... Apr 18 17:15:54 wizard wicked[1159]: lo up Apr 18 17:15:54 wizard wicked[1159]: wlan0 up Apr 18 17:15:54 wizard wicked[1159]: eth0 setup-in-progress Apr 18 17:15:54 wizard systemd[1]: Started wicked managed network interfaces.
From 17:15:24 - to - 17:15:54, wicked is just sitting there spinning its wheels.
