Since 5.3, whenever I execute history command, I see this command in my command buffer which I didn't typed. Can anyone tell me where it might come from and what it performs if I accidentally execute it?
This is a command that is probably run in /etc/profile to set how the command prompt looks. For example, on my computer the prompt looks like: chris@respc-csr2:~ > This will be different for your computer.
