You used the wrong driver name, leave off the ".inf" when removing the driver.
I used the CD that came with my WPC54G card and am having no problems with it. Do you trust that _all_ of the required files were in the zip file? It also states it is Ver. 2, is that the version of your card?

I think so. After removing the wrong driver and repeating the installation with the rigth INF file, here it is the output for ndiswrapper... login as: root Using keyboard-interactive authentication. Password: Installed drivers: lstinds driver installed, hardware present citlali:~ # Is it the driver correctly installed now? Thanks!
