While it's never been a blazing performer, Firefox in Leap 42.2 is *REALLY* bad. It often takes far too long to load pages, compared to Chromium or Seamonkey.
I can't cofirm that; I have Firefox 50.1.0 with 500+ tabs open and it runs fine. Note: I'm very, very careful with the plugins I install. Check the page "about:config" (just paste about:config in the location bar). Firefox will then monitor its own performance and tell you which pages and add on eat most CPU/memory. speedtest.net is unrelated to this. speedtest checks how fast your computer can talk to the Internet. All browsers should be affected in the same way (except when an add on breaks things).
