[opensuse] wget and youtube videos and

Hi, I am mistaken somewhere while download. Can one please tell me the correct step by step process for downloading youtube videos using wget (command line or gui)....I know this is simple thing, but I have facing some problems, not able to get the video id...etc...and the correct way. Further how can the difference videos be concatenated using any tool, just tool name? Thanks in advance.
