I just upgraded to 42.3 by means of zypper dup. After fixing the nvidia issue, my system is running well again.
However, something on one of the threads made me think that I might have some old packages that have been held over from 42.2? I don't know for sure. So this is my question - is there a way to find out? All my repos are now 42.3 repos. I tried this command:
# zypper se -i -s * | grep System
There is a command that is intended to find this kind of packages:
zypper packages --orphaned
A pretty simple solution there, thanks. Seems to give the exact same readout in zypper that the yast solution posted by Carlos gives. Always good to know how to do it in both programs. -- George Box: 42.3 | KDE Plasma 5.8 | AMD Phenom IIX4 | 64 | 32GB Laptop #1: 42.3 | Gnome 3.20 | AMD FX 7TH GEN | 64 | 32GB Laptop #2: 42.3 | Gnome 3.20 | Core i5 | 64 | 8GB -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
