Hi, I like icewm and use it quite a lot, but until now I never had time to give a chance for icepref and iceme, being graphical menu editors for it. Both on SUSE 10.0 and on my (oldie) 9.1 these above packages installed without issues, but when attempting to run them I got: agika@agika:~> icepref sys:1: DeprecationWarning: Non-ASCII character '\xb4' in file /usr/X11R6/bin/icepref on line 285, but no encoding declared; see http://www.python.org/peps/pep-0263.html for details Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/X11R6/bin/icepref", line 24, in ? pygtk.require("1.2") File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/pygtk.py", line 73, in require assert versions.has_key(version), \ AssertionError: required version '1.2' not found on system agika@agika:~> iceme Traceback (most recent call last): File "IceMe.py", line 20, in ? pygtk.require("1.2") File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/pygtk.py", line 73, in require assert versions.has_key(version), \ AssertionError: required version '1.2' not found on system These lines are from SUSE Linux 10.0, but the error-messages of SUSE 9.1 were almost identical. Do I miss please something, even, that I let YAST2 to solve the dependencies on both new/old sys- tems?! I have the feeling, that among the outdated icewm defaults, not working theme(s), etc. it would be no surprise, if this issue would simply not solved between SUSE Linux 9.1 and 10.0... Thanks, Pelibali
