Anyone on the list notice that FORTRAN is missing from SUSE 9.3? Since I'm an Old Fart who still uses FORTRAN I'm wandering what to do. The version of gcc on 9.3 is 3.3.5 while on 9.2 it is 3.3.4. I'm not sure I can install g77 from SUSE 9.2 on a 9.3 system.
It's not missing from my DVD-based install of 9.3: % g77 --version GNU Fortran (GCC) 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux) Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc. Any ideas?
Inspect your installation media via YaST Install & Remove. Use the DVD if it's not on the CDs.
