[#] I normally create 4 or 5 30GB-sized partitions to be able to install versions of Linux distros if I want to experiment. At the moment I have Leap 42.3, Leap 15.0 and Tumbleweed installed. Creating 30GB partitions is an overkill I know, but it 'sounds' better than 20 or 40... :-)

Hey, Basil - up here HDDs are cheap, US$30 for 1TB, US$50 for 2TB, etc. I would assume that even down under they are not terribly expensive. Even a boxed WD Blue 5400rpm 2TB HDD is US$63. Current prices as of today from Microcenter.com . Other outfits like Frys have similar pricing, which is to say that worrying about HDD space is unnecessary. Splurge a bit, feel the freedom of all that elbow room.
(<Sigh>. Oh, you youngsters are always jumping to occlusions.) :-) All my HDs are 1TB or 2TB big, and most sit in cradles so I can swap in/out the HDs at whim. But just because I have TBs coming out of my ears doesn't mean I have to use and format 1TB just for Leap 15.0 or for Tumbleweed :-). What's that saying..."Waste not, want not"? :-) BC -- Always be nice to people on your way up -- you'll see the same people on your way down. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
