Apache 1.3.23 and URL's (case issues)

Hi All, I would like to know if it's possible to translate a URL a user types in apache to all lower case for processing on unix/linux. For example: http://www.foo.com/BAr.tXt Would become http://www.foo.com/bar.txt (made into all lower case) to remove any case issues with unix/linux filenames Is such a thing possible, and if so, is it stock in apache-1.3.23 or does someone have a module for apache they can point me to. -Bill
