I have seen that YOU dowloads files using wget: wget --tries=3 --waitretry=2 --passive-ftp -O /var/lib/YaST2/you/i386/update/8.1/rpm/i586/kdebase3-konqueror-3.0.4-4.i586.patch.rpm.new.yast.65675 ftp://ftp.gwdg.de//pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/update/8.1/rpm/i586/kdebase3-konqueror-3.0.4-4.i586.patch.rpm Now, I wonder if it would be possible to use -c instead of -O `-O FILE' `--output-document=FILE' The documents will not be written to the appropriate files, but all will be concatenated together and written to FILE. If FILE already exists, it will be overwritten. If the FILE is `-', the documents will be written to standard output. Including this option automatically sets the number of tries to 1. -c' `--continue' Continue getting a partially-downloaded file. This is useful when you want to finish up a download started by a previous instance of Wget, or by another program. For instance: This would allow me to continue a big file download, instead of restarting it after the networks fails - which is too easy using a modem. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
