You can have a standard suse style system without using yast :-) What she does on her main system is drastic. No initrd, for starters; she loads at boot time from "/" instead. This takes a lot of effort, imho, but has advantages she wants. We simply have to be aware when she report a problem of the differences, to know if they could affect. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E.
