Just wondering if there is any discernable difference, such as different packages not being included on the DVD ISO download. Since it's being called an "Eval" version on Novell's/SUSE's site, I wasn't sure.

Thanks. This is helpful. Quite a difference really, even for use on my notebook. I think I will continue to purchase the distro.

I don't understand ever releasing a Linux distro without: apache2 apcupsd bind - and utilities dhcp-server, client, etc. ethereal php4, etc.. If james list is correct, how in the heck would the machine ever obtain an IP? I haven't looked at the ftp package list, but surely it must have dhcp included. -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
