Yes, that's what I have done.
If you don't control the server (like this I don't for this Gmail account) you may want to encrypt drafts, and in this case, you can use your own key to encrypt them, and it will ask that key as you call up the draft again.
There should be a setting in the previous window for the key to use on all drafts, regardless of recipients. Otherwise the setting is useless, I had to disable it, even though I want to use it.
