problems with rt_sigsuspend()

Hi, I recently started to have problems with some multi-media apps hanging on me. I was wondering if anyone has heard of, or seen this problem. The 3 apps which do this are xmms, ogg123, and now tuxpaint. I can still use libogg, because mp3blaster still plays ogg files fine. I guess the common thread thru these programs is sound (tuxpaint has sounds). Anyways, they startup then hang. (mask now [RTMIN]) rt_sigsuspend([] These apps used to run for me. The only thing I can think of that changed is I installed a ide cd-rw, and changed my ide setup around.
