The default gateway has to be changed. The firewall rules have to be changed, so that the external interface is set to eth1 instead of ippp0. And, because that was not enough, I had to uninstall the ISDN subsystem. Now I have thought of a crude method to switch between the two gateways: back up the files which are changed by YaST, when I make the necessary changes, and replace the config files in /etc with the ones which are currently needed. But as I said, I consider this very crude. Can anyone think of a better way?
Let me briefly define "better": - It should preserve the system's integrity, - it should be done with SuSE's tools, - profiles must be switchable via a web interface (this should pose no problem, I can always write a wrapper)
