Stupid Question 1001-Source for Qt

I recently install SuSE 10 and am getting the development environment together.  I'm using Qt and have looked around the system for the source so I could build and use things like qmake, for example (if I run "which qmake", the shell returns nothing).  Is it possible to just build on top of what's already there?  Do I need to go ahead and download the Qt- X11 product and build it separately? In general, where do I find source code for the various products on SuSE's download site?  I looked around the site, but couldn't find any significant amount of stuff.
