Some unexpected general failure yesterday at late night. Fortunately, it was fixed efficiently.
huh? It took 12 hours.
I don't know the insides or how extended the problem is. As you probably know we have been having some known issues on weekends. Probably we need to renew some or the whole infractucture, I don't know. There is no cheap or easy solutions for those who pay for it.
I am just a messenger ( one of us as you are ).
That is acceptable.
But you can not say "efficiently" when it took so long to solve.
I do not know how hard it was to solve it. I assuming it was "efficiently" because it was a Big Deal with several sites down simultaneously. And several years ago working as Network Admin it used to take several hours to take several web servers on different geolocation to synch them up. You are right I shouldn't assume how efficient or acceptable it is. Just say "it's back again" Regards, -- Ricardo Chung | Panama Linux & FOSS Ambassador openSUSE Projects -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
