I am running 10.2 and about to convert to 10.3.
I have always wondered why rpms are downloaded and then installed. And then the next one downloaded ....
Instead of downloading the next RPM to be installed while the previous one is being installed with a potential delay if the second download beats the installation of the previous RPM.
This is general behavior of libzypp, we are looking into this, if parallel download and installation is feasible.
Wouldn't that speed up updates a lot ?
I assume yes. Stano -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
