It is my wont to administer Suse boxes remotely, This allows me to work from my desk rather than running around like a windows sysadmin. (They're looking fit lately) So I ssh across, carrying X connectivity with me and su using sux, which isn't dignified but allows me superuser still with X. YaST: works fine. Browsing: used to use it to connect to things like CUPS or SWAT things with web interfaces that only take connections from localhost. But of late, when I type "mozilla", some Resident Evil pops up firebird running on my local machine. Firebird is a Good Thing, but not when it jumps out unbidden. I suspect I am being serviced by a Daemon, (how undignified).
