Guru, Pascal Bleser (iianm), participates in List-Id: Smart Package Manager mailing list <smart-labix.org> and *most* likely someone{s} from the packman *group*. I would follow the earlier advice to join that list and present your problem. Usually an answer/comment arrives quickly.
