Both must be "on".
chkconfig boot.getclock boot.getclock: unknown service
Then you do not have installed opensuse 11. Both come with the rpm "aaa_base"
# chkconfig boot.clock boot.clock on

My opensuse 11.0 is running Ok. I get the following: chkconfig boot.clock boot.clock off chkconfig boot.getclock boot.getclock on rpm -qa |grep aaa_base aaa_base-11.0-79.2 linux 2.6.25.5-1.1-pae #1 SMP Do I need to turn on boot.clock?
