I uninstalled the SuSE broken Mozilla package (8.1).
Then I installed the vanilla one from Mozilla.org. (Why the heck did Suse bother to break it in the first place, I dunno...)
We did not break it intentionally. It's just the fact that at the time of 8.1 there was no Java compiled with gcc 3.2 which we compiled the distribution with. So the incompatibility broke Java with Mozilla.
