Hi, I've read somewhere that probably is a good idea to let heartbeat/pacemaker manage the cluster membership for OCFS2 instead of using o2cb, has anybody done it?
yes, but you need a number of kernel patches which aren't upstream and only the SLES10 kernels include them (that I know of). I believe the patches were sent to the ocfs2 mailing list if you need to find them.
is that a good decision at last?
its a good idea so that heartbeat and ocfs2 have a consistent view of the cluster (ie. which nodes are up/down) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
